BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
Throughout the year, sisters of Phi Theta Chi participate in various events in order to raise awareness for breast cancer. Some—like Buy a Weenie, Save a Boobie and Steppin' Out in Pink are hosted by active sisters right on Winona State's campus.
STEPPIN' OUT IN PINK
Steppin' Out in Pink is an annual five-mile walk held by the Gundersen Medical Foundation in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Its mission is to "improve the lives of patients and [their] larger community through medical education, research, outreach and the philanthropic support of Gundersen Health System." Not only does Steppin' Out in Pink help raise awareness for breast cancer, but proceeds from the walk help to fund breast cancer research.

BUY A WEENIE, SAVE A BOOBIE
Buy a Weenie, Save a Boobie is an event we hold every year right on campus, usually by the Gazebo. At this event, we sell hot dogs to raise money for breast cancer research.
